Aphidius colemani is a parasitoid predatory wasp widely used in aphid control. They are mainly used to control cannabis aphids, tobacco aphids, cotton aphids, and peach-potato aphids.

Rather than eating the aphids, A. colemani lay their eggs inside of the aphid, using their body as a nursery. When the deposited eggs hatch and become larvae, the aphid becomes the food source as they feed on them from the inside, turning the aphid body into a swollen, leathery, grey- brown mummy. Two weeks after the introduction of the egg, an adult wasp emerges from the mummy to hunt.

Option 1: Preferred option. Walk throughout the grow area, holding bottle horizontally and open. Allow wasps to emerge. Cap bottle and allow to sit at room temperature until more wasps have emerged from the mummies and repeat. This may take several days.

Option 2: Spread contents onto rockwool or growing media in areas that will remain dry for several days. Alternatively, pour contents into BugBoxes and distribute throughout crop by hanging them on branches close to the center of the plant. The lower humidity may cause less chance of emergence.
